Graviton5 really delivered with some solid generational gains. M
aintaining the same 16 vCPU "4xlarge" count, there was 30% geo mean uplift from Graviton4 to Graviton5 across all of these independent benchmarks carried out using m8g.4xlarge to m9g.4xlarge.
Graviton5 (...) bump to DDR5-8800 from DDR5-5600
The performance of the graphics chip should be between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU and the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU
he "Vera" CPU is equipped with 88 custom Armv9.2 "Olympus" cores, featuring 176 threads through physical resource partitioning.
(...) second-generation Scalable Coherency Fabric provides 3.4 TB/s of bisection bandwidth, connecting the cores across a unified monolithic die and eliminating the latency issues common in chiplet architectures.
NVIDIA allowed only a specific subset of tests on this pre-release chip, including standard workloads like code compilation, stream memory performance, video encoding, Python/Java, and database performance.

the AMD EPYC 9745 was delivering about 90% the performance of its 128 core EPYC 9755 sibling. Considering that the EPYC 9745 has just 80% the TDP rating of the EPYC 9755, that's a nice showing for the EPYC 9745 with its dense cores. When pulling back to the 320 Watt lowest cTDP, it was around 98% the performance of the 400 Watt default.
Across the mix of different workloads tested, the EPYC 9745 consumed 73% the power of the EPYC 9755 across the mix of workloads tested. The peak CPU power was at 379 Watts for the EPYC 9745 compared to 497 Watts with the EPYC 9755. With the 320 Watt cTDP power configuration was the additional power savings.
And lastly the system DC power consumption as reported by the Corsair HX1500i power supply used for this Gigabyte server.
Overall the AMD EPYC 9745 offered good performance relative to the EPYC 9755 with its full Zen 5 cores and higher TDP while offering quite a nice lead in performance-per-Watt across the many workloads tested. The EPYC 9745 is a great choice for those concerned about maximizing the power efficiency of your EPYC 9005 series server build and/or limited to a maximum 400 Watt TDP rated processors by your server platform.
When taking the geometric mean of the nearly 500 benchmarks in total, the AMD EPYC 9755 2P delivered 1.45x the performance of the Xeon 6980P 2P server.
With the same 128 cores / 256 threads per socket for those Turin and Granite Rapids processors,
the 5th Gen AMD EPYC performance continues to demonstrate decisive performance leadership.

the Rhea1, advertised by the manufacturer as a "high-performance chip"," with its 80 Neoverse V1 ARM cores from TSMC's N6 production line, 64 GB of HBM2E, and a DDR5 memory interface, will no longer be considered search in 2026.
il semble au top
consomme bc moins

coté iGPU
The new Radeon 890M offers more performance than the old Radeon 780M—
but it also requires a lot of power to reach its full potential. With TDP values below 30 watts, its advantage is usually only around 10 %.
