On the outside, the laptop is made entirely of matt black coated plastic, which is internally reinforced in the area of the base with a magnesium frame. This makes the ThinkPad laptop robust, but sometimes a little less stable than models with a full metal housing.
A very annoying feature of this unit: the housing creaks a little in the right area of the palm rest. This was not the case with the identical Lenovo ThinkPad T14 G4 Intel, but Lenovo should have such quality fluctuations under control.
