Sur le papier l’Amlogic est largement au dessus de la puce Broadcom de la Raspberry Pi 3.
Malheureusement, les pilotes graphiques du Mali-450 ne sont absolument pas disponibles en Open-Source ce qui rend son exploitation limitée en dehors de systèmes compatibles comme Android par exemple.
Sous Linux pour le moment, les pilotes du Mali 450 ne permettent pas d’afficher un bureau en Ultra HD, les vidéos sont lues en 720p maximum, faute d’un pilote parfaitement ouvert et adapté à Linux.
( Un pilote Mali plus complet est annoncé pour Mars ou Avril d’après Hadkernel)

Sur le papier l’Amlogic est largement au dessus de la puce Broadcom de la Raspberry Pi 3.
Malheureusement, les pilotes graphiques du Mali-450 ne sont absolument pas disponibles en Open-Source ce qui rend son exploitation limitée en dehors de systèmes compatibles comme Android par exemple.
Sous Linux pour le moment, les pilotes du Mali 450 ne permettent pas d’afficher un bureau en Ultra HD, les vidéos sont lues en 720p maximum, faute d’un pilote parfaitement ouvert et adapté à Linux.
( Un pilote Mali plus complet est annoncé pour Mars ou Avril d’après Hadkernel)
